1. Information we collect

When you submit a placement request or contact us, we may collect:

  • Contact details — name, email address, phone number.
  • Academic details — school, program, degree level, specialty, and target start date.
  • Placement preferences — state, rotation format (onsite/virtual), and scheduling needs.
  • Documents you choose to share to support paperwork submission (e.g. licensure, CV, program forms).
  • Basic website usage data (such as pages visited) if analytics tools are enabled.

2. How we use it

We use your information to:

  • Search for and match you with a suitable preceptor.
  • Prepare, complete, and submit required placement paperwork.
  • Communicate with you about the status of your case.
  • Respond to inquiries you send us directly.
  • Improve our services and website based on aggregate, non-identifying trends.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Who we share it with

Your information is shared only with the parties directly involved in completing your placement:

  • The preceptor(s) and clinical site(s) being considered for or confirmed to your case.
  • Your school's clinical placement or field experience office, where required for paperwork submission.
  • Service providers who support our operations (e.g. payment processing, secure document storage), under confidentiality obligations.

We do not share your information with unrelated third parties or use it for advertising purposes.

4. Data security

We take reasonable administrative and technical steps to protect the information you share with us, including limiting access to team members directly working on your case. No online system is completely secure, and we encourage you to share sensitive documents only through the channels your coordinator provides.

5. Data retention

We retain placement records for as long as reasonably necessary to complete your case and to meet any recordkeeping obligations tied to school or compliance requirements, after which records are archived or deleted.

6. Cookies

Our website may use basic cookies to remember site preferences and understand general usage patterns. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

7. Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us at the email below. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any recordkeeping requirements tied to an active or completed placement.

8. Children's privacy

Our services are intended for students enrolled in post-secondary nursing programs and are not directed at children under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
